To stencil, pour a few drops of Bakers Binder onto a paint palette or non-porous surface. Place your stencil down, pressing firmly to secure it onto your sweet surface. If using fondant, roll the stencil into the fondant using a rolling pin. Use a food-safe brush to paint a light layer of Bakers Binder over the stencil, stipple or brush your lustre or paint on, brush off any excess and slowly peel the stencil away. For painting, simply mix a few small drops with your lustre or powder colour and paint away.
Bakers Binder works best for stencilling and painting on fondant cookies, however can be used on sugar cookies and confectionary. Use for small details on crusted American buttercream, royal icing and chocolate.
